Apa Bahasa Inggrisnya Tidak Apa-Apa

 


Bagi kamu yang ingin mengatakan “Tidak Apa-apa” kepada seseorang menggunakan bahasa Inggris, maka kamu perlu membaca artikel berikut ini.

Dalam menyatakan “Tidak Apa-apa”, penting bagi kita untuk menunjukkan suatu ekspresi yang tepat, terutama kalau yang ingin kamu gunakan adalah bahasa asing, dalam hal ini Bahasa Inggris, yang merupakan bahasa yang jarang kamu gunakan sehari-hari.

Cara menyatakan “Tidak Apa-apa” dalam Bahasa Inggris

Ada beberapa variasi dalam menyatakan “Tidak Apa-apa” menggunakan Bahasa Inggris, yang umumnya digunakan pada saat ditanya soal keadaan diri sendiri.

Contoh-contoh tersebut merupakan cara menjawab yang tergolong formal. Sementara kalau untuk menjawab secara informal contohnya adalah:

    • baca: not bed
  • Not too shabby
    • baca: not tu shebby
  • Pretty good
    • baca: pritty gud

Satu contoh yang agak berbeda sedikit adalah apabila ingin menyatakan “tidak apa-apa, lupakan saja”, maka yang digunakan adalah:

  • Nevermind
    • baca: nevermayn
  • Don’t bother
    • baca: downt bader

Contoh A (menanyakan keadaan seseorang yang terlihat ada masalah)

X: Hey, what’s the matter? Are you okay?
Y: I’m okay, i’m just spacing out

Artinya:

X: Hey, kamu kenapa ? apakah kamu baik-baik saja?
Y: Tidak apa-apa, aku baik-baik saja, aku hanya melamun

Contoh B (tidak sengaja menabrak seseorang)

X: Oops, sorry, did i hurt you? / Oops, sorry, are you hurt?
Y: Nah, no problem, i’m alright

Artinya:

X: Ups, maaf, apakah saya menyakiti Anda? / Ups, maaf, apakah Anda sakit?
Y: Ah, tidak masalah, saya tidak apa-apa / saya baik-baik saja

Contoh C (menanyakan kondisi seseorang yang tertimpa musibah)

X: I’m sorry for your loss, how are you doing? Are you okay?
Y: I’m fine, actually, it doesn’t bother me at all

Artinya:

X: Saya turut berduka atas musibah yang menimpamu, bagaimana kabarmu? Apakah kamu baik-baik saja?
Y: Aku baik-baik saja, kok, itu sama sekali tidak menjadi masalah bagiku

Contoh D (contoh percakapan untuk lupakan saja)

X: Hey, have you seen my laptop?
Y: Huh? sorry? have i see what?
X: Oh, Nevermind, i already found it. It’s in my bag.

Artinya:

X: Hey, kamu lihat laptop saya tidak?
Y: Hah? maaf? saya lihat apa?
X: Oh, nggak jadi / tidak apa-apa, lupakan saja, sudah ketemu. Ternyata di dalam tas saya.
